[Trailer] FIFA 09 - Trailer Oficial
August 29, 2008 - Much of the attention EA Sports is putting on its last-generation sports franchises appears to be aimed at attracting newcomers and casual fans of the sport with control schemes that are more accessible and friendly for these players. The latest title to host this redesigned control scheme is FIFA Soccer 09, the upcoming football title from EA Canada and EA Sports. But there's much more than a redesigned control scheme to be found within this year's soccer game. We got our hands on a preview build of the game to see just how the game will play when it hits the pitch. The largest feature is what's known as Casual Controls, which allows players to play the game with only two buttons. Hitting X will pass the ball to your players, while the Circle button will shoot. On defense, holding X will perform a standing tackle, while tapping X will switch players. Circle, on the other hand, will perform a slide tackle. There are two unique factors about this setup: the first is that the game will intelligently make adjustments based on the situation and determine whether or not you want to make a cross or a through pass, so beginners won't have to focus on which pass is the right one in a certain situation to give a player a chance to take a shot. The other element related to the Casual Control scheme is that you're not actually limited from using the more advanced mechanics. Players can still use R1 to sprint or the right analog stick to perform skill moves, which means that as players get accustomed to the gameplay, they can slowly experiment with the more advanced moves, but still have the basic controls to fall back on.Apart from this redesigned control scheme, experienced players will find a new set of maneuvers across all facets of the game. For one thing, it's now possible to perform a light or strong first touch move when a pass is sent a players way by flicking or holding the right analog stick in the direction that you want to make the move. It takes a little getting used to without sending the ball careening away from your selected player, but it is possible. Other redesigned elements include being able to aim blindly for the goal posts during free kicks to fake out an opponent. Players initially set the direction of the kick and lock the camera, then change direction and use the rumble within the controller to let you know how close you are to bending the kick towards either post. Players can also fake the direction of a throw-in to confuse defenders and provide an opening for a quick shot on goal.Players will also find extra details scattered all throughout gameplay. There are four additional skill moves, allowing players to perform scoop turns, rainbow flicks, heel-to-heel knocks and ball rolls as they dribble up the pitch. Players can now also attempt to push off an attacker when they're shielding the ball, which can potentially result in a foul, but can also give you enough space to make a play. This shielding mechanic plays into the collision detection system and 500 new animation sequences that have been included in the game, so you'll really be able to tell the difference when a larger player uses their body to repel someone that's challenging them for the ball. The same is true when you see a smaller player sprint out on an errant cross and chase it down.Pass it to me, I'm open!Pass it to me, I'm open! Many of the previous modes from last year's game return as well, such as the Challenge, Tournament and Manager Modes, with a few adjustments. The largest adjustment comes in the redesigned Be A Pro: Seasons mode, which now covers the career of a created player over four separate seasons, adjusting your attributes based off your play the whole way through. Again, up to three other friends can play with you on the same team, boosting the success of your club but acting as competition during specific challenges. However, one thing that is added now is a new Be a Pro Camera, which tracks your player and their movements to highlight the experience on the pitch. If you're looking for a few glimpses of the game in action, check it out below.

BOLIVIA 4 x PARAGUAY 2 | Eliminatorias Mundial 2010 | 2008
Alineaciones:Bolivia: Carlos Arias, Luis Gatty Ribeiro, Ronald Raldes, Luis Guti茅rrez, Adbon Reyes (Ronald Rivero, 67), Leonel Reyes, Ronald Garc铆a (Ronald Guti茅rrez, 46), Joselito Vaca, Didi Torrico, Joaqu铆n Botero (Mauricio Saucedo, 73) y Marcelo Martins Moreno.Paraguay: Aldo Bobadilla, Carlos Bonet, Julio C茅sar C谩ceres, Paulo Da Silva, Claudio Morel Rodr铆guez, Edgar Barreto, Enrique Vera (Pablo Zeballos, 46), Victor C谩ceres, Cristian Riveros, Salvador Caba帽as (Nelson Haedo Valdez, 62) y Oscar Cardozo (Roque Santa Cruz, 62).Arbitro: Leonardo Gaciba (Brasil).
